I don’t understand if you have a problem with Firefox or with other browsers… And I don’t do Windows.

Thanks for this posting, and all attempts, I have the same issue and even though I have disabled all addons, I still have the problem. I use Crazy Browser, but the changes doesnt help with IE either. Can you assist further?
I even tried to rename a registry file under Software classes, and still, no joy….

I made sure NOT to install the yahoo toolbar when I installed Firefox, but when I read that disabling it was the solution, I thought I was out of luck. I DID have an antivirus toolbar, however. I had AVG toolbar. When I got rid of this, problem solved.

“Ask Toolbar” also screws up the right-click contextual menu… it sucked. Thanks for the tip to deactivate the add-on to make it work again.
